Nirvana

Nirvana was formed in Seattle, Washington, in the late 80's. Nirvana is one of the era's most well known bands, and because even more famous after the suicide of its co-founder and lead singer, Kurt Cobain. The other members of the band included Dave Grohl as the longest-running drummer, and Krist Novoselic as the bassist. Some of the bands include their monster-hit, "Smells Like Teen Spirit" "Heart Shaped Box," "Come as you are" and "Lithium", amung others. The band has sold over twenty million albums in the US alone, and over 50 million worldwide.
